Through our relationship with Rapp Ecosse, we have been manufacturing trawl winches for approximately 40 years, with an emphasis on producing winches of the highest quality, at competitive prices.
Our winches are driven by a range of radial piston hydraulic motors providing power either, directly to the high tensile steel main winch shaft, or indirectly through one of our custom designed steel spur gear drive gearboxes.
Winch drums run on double row spherical roller bearings for maximum durability. Drums are filled with grease, reducing the amount of maintenance required. Winch brake-bands are appropriately sized, taking into consideration winch power/drum sizes, and are fitted with marine grade linings.
Winches are fitted with hydraulic cylinder operated guide on gear as standard, running on stainless steel guide bars. Guide-on rollers are hardened. Guide-on gear is adjustable for angle.
All our winches are shot-blasted, fully galvanized, then epoxy painted and finally finish painted with a high quality enamel paint.
