Our trawl hanging blocks are available with a choice of mild steel, hardened steel, or stainless steel sheave running on either bronze bushes or ball/roller bearings. Nylon sheaves are also available. The steel cages are galvanized and painted.
Trawl blocks are supplied with a tested eyebolt as standard. Other options available on request.
All eyebolts and sample of complete trawl-block are load tested to twice SWL. On request, individual blocks can be load-tested and a test certificate supplied. (at an additional cost.)
The table below lists our standard range of trawl hanging block sizes, their safe working load (SWL) in tonnes and the maximum recommended wire rope diameter for each size of block/sheave.
